District Civil Hospital Solapur Bharti 2024
The work of the district hospital at Guru Nanak Chowk, which was approved four years ago, is now in the final stages. The hospital will be inaugurated by the end of February before the implementation of the Lok Sabha Model Code of Conduct and its preparations have been intensified. There is a plan to complete the furniture work in 15 days and first ‘OPD’ will be started in the district hospital. There are a total of 200 beds in the district hospital, out of which 100 beds will be for women and children’s hospital and 100 beds will be for general treatment patients. Both buildings are independent and the construction of the buildings has been completed. It was told from the District Surgeon Office that the work of furniture is pending and it has been ordered from the state level. A total of 97 posts are being filled in the Women’s Hospital, out of which 42 posts are regular and 55 posts are to be filled through the external system. At the same time, the process of filling 92 regular posts and 95 posts through external system is going on for the district hospital. This recruitment is going on as per the decision of Public Health Department dated 22 June 2022. After the opening of the hospital, it will be of great help in reducing the burden of patients in the present Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sarvopachar Hospital. At the same time, quality facilities for free treatment of poor patients will also be provided. Health Minister Dr. Tanaji Sawant has paid special attention to this and his efforts are on to open the district hospital for the patients of the district soon.
