New employment fair concluded in Maharashtra

The Department of Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Government will organize NaMo MahaRojgar Mela in Nashik city on 28th and 29th. Accordingly, Revenue Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil suggested that all district collectors of the division should make efforts to increase the registration of unemployed youth. To prepare for the meeting to be held at Bhistabagh Mahal grounds in the city, Minister Vikhe-Patil interacted with department officials through the television system on Friday (16th). MP Sujay Vikhe-Patil, Divisional Commissioner Radhakrishna Game, Skill Development Commissioner Nidhi Choudhary, Collector Jalaj Sharma and collectors of all four districts of the division, Regional Officer of MIDC Nitin Gawli, Deputy Commissioner of Employment and Entrepreneurship Department Sunil Sendane were present. Minister Vikhe-Patil further said that more and more companies should give information about their vacancies in employment fairs. Information about this meeting should be spread to the unemployed youth of urban and rural areas. To provide employment to the youth, government technical institutes, various industrial institutes, all universities of the department should also be involved. A guidance center should be established at the meeting venue. He suggested that a link for registration should be created through digital media to publicize the meeting.

Commissioner Radhakrishna Game said that more than 200 establishments will participate in the job fair and 30 thousand candidates are expected to participate. He said that 15,000 candidates will be selected in the primary selection and there is a plan to provide direct employment to 10,000 candidates.
