PGCIL Diploma Trainee Exam Date 2025: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has officially released the examination schedule for its much awaited recruitment drive for 2025. This recruitment process was advertised under Advt. Number CC/10/2024 dated 22 October, 2024, Diploma Trainee (Electrical and Civil), Junior Officer Trainee (HR and F&A), and Assistant Trainee (F&A) targets various posts.

Interested candidates who have applied for these posts can now mark their calendar, as Computer Based Testing (CBT) dates have been confirmed.

PGCIL has determined computer based test (CBT) for the posts of Junior Officer Trainee (F&A) and Assistant Trainee (F&A) March 26, 2025 (Wednesday)According to the notice on March 12, 2025 (Ref: C/HR/Rectt/Notice -4). The announcement comes as an important update for the candidates preparing these roles, expecting the admit card to be released soon.

Meanwhile, CBT is temporarily prescribed for Diploma Trainee (Electrical and Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee (HR). April 11, 2025 (Friday)According to notice on March 24, 2025 (Ref: C/HR/Rectt/Nonitor-5). Recruitment observation: vacancies and opportunities

The purpose of this recruitment drive by PGCIL is to fill the total 795 vacancies In various fields, additional backlogs and physical PWBD with vacancies (5* and 2 $). Posts include:

  • Diploma Trainee (Electrical – DTE): Focus on candidates with three -year diploma in electrical engineering subjects.
  • Diploma trainee: To target civil engineering diploma holders.
  • Junior Officer Trainee (HR – Jot HR): For graduates with qualifications like BBA/BBM/BBS.
  • Junior Officer Trainee (F&A – Jot F&A): Inter CA/CMA opened to candidates with qualifications.
  • Assistant trainee (F&A): B.com for graduates.

Eligibility and selection process

To participate in this recruitment, candidates have to meet strict eligibility criteria. For diploma trainees, a full -time regular three -year diploma with minimum 70% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD) is required, while high qualifications like B.Tech are not allowed. Junior officer trainees in HR require a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks, and those differences in F&A require CA/CMA. Assistant trainees (F&A) should hold B.Com with 60% marks (pass points for reserved categories).
