Kvs entry 2025: Kandia Vidyala Sangathan (KVS) has officially announced the introduction of offline registration process for Balvatika -2 and class 2 starting on April 12, 2025. The offline registration window will be open till April 11, 2025, provided that there are seats available in the respective classes.
This development follows the successful completion of the online registration process for Balwatika -1, Balvatika -3 and class 1 in March 2025.
Kvs entry Offline registration for reserved categories
KVS has made provisions for offline registration for reserved categories of candidates, including the Right to Education (RTE) Act, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL). If insufficient number of applications is obtained through the online registration process, a second notification will be issued on April 7, 2025 for offline registration in these categories.
The offline registration period for admission of reserved category will be from 8 April to 14 April 2025. The final admission list for these students will be displayed between 23 April and 28 April 2025.
Kvs balvatika-2 registration
Offline registration for BAlvatika -2 will be held from April 2 to April 11, 2025 under the availability of 2 seats. The minimum age required for Balvatika -2 is 4 to 5 years. Parents and parents should ensure that their children meet the required age norms before applying.
The first provisional admission list for Balvatika -2 will be released on 17 April, followed by the admission process from April 18 to April 21. If the seats remain unformed, a final admission list will be displayed between April 23 and April 28, 2025. The maximum capacity for each category, including Balvati -2, has 40 students.
KVS class 2-12 registration
For admission from class 2 to class 12, offline registration will also be held from April 2 to April 11, 2025. The first provisional admission list for these classes will be published on 17 April, in which the admission process will be determined from April 18 to April 21. The last deadline for admission to all classes except class 11 is June 30, 2025.
However, if the seats remain vacant, the deputy commissioners have the right to approve admission by July 31, 2025. Admission for class 11 will begin within ten days of CBSE class 10 results, KV students were given priority, followed by non-KV students based on the availability of seat.
KVS Admission Schedule and Important Dates 2025
Below is the schedule for KVS admission for Balvatika -2 and class 2:
- April 2 – 11 April, 2025: Offline registration for Balvatika -2 and classes 2-12
- 7 April, 2025: Second notification for reserved category offline registration (if necessary)
- 8 April – 14 April, 2025: Offline registration for RTE, SC, ST and OBC-NCL categories
- 17 April, 2025: First provisional list released for Balvatika -2 and class 2 released
- 18 April – 21 April, 2025: First provisional list admission process for candidates
- 23 April – 28 April, 2025: Final admission list performance for reserved category students
- June 30, 2025: Last date for admission to all classes except class 11
- 31 July, 2025: Last date for approval of admission by deputy commissioners in vacant seats
Each category has a maximum capacity of 40 students, which ensures a balanced and effective learning environment.
KVS Entry 2025: Age Criteria
According to KVS guidelines, the minimum age requirements for Balwatika classes are as follows:
- Balvatika-1: 3 to 4 years
- Balvatika-2: 4 to 5 years
- Balvatika -3: 5 to 6 years

KVS class 11 admission 2025
For class 11 admission, KVS CBSE will start the registration process within ten days of class 10 result announcement. Already, students enrolled in Kandriya Vidyalayal will be given priority, and their admission list will be released within 20 days of the results being published.
Non-KV students will be eligible to apply only when all KV students have the remaining seats after adjusting. Class 11 admission time limit has been set in 30 days from CBSE class 10 result announcement.
