Qualification statement
- For Group C (Level -2, GP ₹ 1900/ -):
- The 12th (+2 phase) or in total is not required for SC/ST/East-Seva with at least 50% marks and high qualification holders such as graduates/postgraduates).
- Or matriculation with ITI for technical categories.
- For Group D (Level -1, GP ₹ 1800/ -):
- 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
- Or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) released by NCVT.
Age limit details
- Group C (Level -2): 18 to 30 years (as 01.07.2025)
- Group D (Level -1): 18 to 33 years (as 01.07.2025)
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- EX-Servicemen: Up to Service Rendered + 3 years
- Disabled person (PWD): UR-10 years, OBC-13 years, SC/ST-15 years

Selection process
- Written test (60 marks):
- 40 objective questions (40 marks) and 1 essay-type question (20 marks) are related to scouts and guides and general knowledge.
- Negative marking: 1/3rd for each wrong answer.
- Points on certificate (40 marks):
- Participation in national/state/district programs and special courses.
- Document verification:
- Shortlisted candidates (5 times vacancies) will be called for verification.

- The final selection is subject to medical fitness.

- General/OBC candidate: ₹ 500/- (Return of ₹ 400/- for those who appear in the exam).
